February 2007 Newsletter
Dear Folks:
Winter is really here. I thought it was going to skip over us this year. Last week we were putting on sweaters and didn’t need a coat. This week we need long johns and a coat. My daffodils had pushed through the ground and now they are wearing a coat of snow.
I’ve been taking care of my immune system no matter what the weather, so I’d like to share that with you.
You all know that I have always consumed massive amounts of herbs and vitamins and still do. In spite of my consistent regime, once a year I would catch a cold. The past two years I have been immune to cold and flu. All the things I take help me stay well but the one thing that I believe puts me over the top is“Immune Support.”
This isn’t my formula but is put together for us by our incredible, long time vitamin producer Reliance. They have made this cutting edge formula with European standardized herbs of the highest quality. These are also the most clinically studied botanicals on the market today. It contains Echinacea, Astragalus , L-OptiZinctm, Maitake Mushroom TD Fraction as well as Shitake and Reishi Mushrooms. They have also included Vitamin A, C, B-6, Folic Acid, B-12 and Pantothenic Acid. Other ingredients that help support a healthy immune system are Quercetin, Goldenseal, Garlic and the herb Ligustrum lucidum. I take 2 capsules a day. A really “good thing.”
Thought I would give you a “did you know” list in each newsletter. Let me know what you think. Our customers and we have tried these.
1. Chewing gum after meals or anytime you experience digestive problems brings most people relief.
2. Super CitriMax not only helps you lose weight, but also helps regulate cholesterol and blood sugar.
3. Brown apple cider (1/2 to 1 cup to 6 cups water) vinegar added to water poured over your body brings back the natural pH balance to your skin and reduces itching. Dump it over your hair after you condition and you will have shiny hair. Dump straight vinegar over your windshield and you reduce ice and frost on it.
4. Alpha Lipoic Acid helps to reduce the symptoms of neuropathy. This amazing supplement helps your brain function and is a powerful antioxidant.
5. Have a wart that won’t go away? Try duct tape. Our family doctor suggested this. Cut a small piece to cover the wart. You can put propolis cream on it first to speed the process.
I could go on forever but instead I’ll invite you to call the 800 number or stop in. Ask about our monthly specials when you call or stop in. You can set up a FREE consultation on the phone or in person. Call 1-800-995-HERB.
Herbally Yours,
Annie
